Creating a distinct niche market and advertising your company as the go-to resource for that market helps you stand out from the crowd of generalists in your industry and attract more dedicated customers. Targeting a specific market makes it simpler for your ideal customers to respond positively, from your unique selling proposition to new additions to your product line. A good place to start when you're lost for your initial product concept is to identify a specialized niche. You can narrow your focus and find even more success by specializing in one of the many possible niches. The key is to focus on a certain market segment that you can dominate and that also has a sizable consumer base. Finding your specialization, however, can be a challenging and time-consuming process, requiring a combination of intrinsic desire and self-directed study.
